Duty Description: Group Officer, Area FC Office

In compliance with the Office Order issued by the competent authority, the Group Officer will undertake the following responsibilities for the various branches of the Area Financial Controller (FC) Office and will be accountable to the Area FC (Army) regarding the work of these branches.

Key Responsibilities:

Accountability and Reporting: Be accountable to the Area FC (Army) regarding all matters pertaining to the work and operations of the assigned branches.

Performance Oversight: Monitor and evaluate the work efficiency and performance of the Branch Officers, Supervisors, Auditors, and Junior Auditors within the designated group.

Supervision: Exercise supervision over the work and activities of the Deputy Area Financial Controllers (DAFCs) and Supervisors.

Compliance and Quality Check: Verify that the Auditors and Junior Auditors are carrying out their duties accurately, efficiently, and in an appropriate manner.

Performance Appraisals (ACRs/APARs):

Initiate and write the Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs) for the DAFCs reporting directly to them.

Countersign the Confidential Reports for the Class-II Officers.
